Family, those who know you best and get your wierdness!

So what do you get when you cross Hawaiian shirts, Kilts, Sugar, and Fairies... The Hulse family reunion. I feel so bad for my poor husband, who was forced by me to come and witness the embarrassment of it all. So I'm used to this, so nothing was a surprise for me, but about half way through the night, Scott looked and me and said "Your family is so weired!" I don't think any of you would argue :) We had a lot of fun, and a lot of food. here are a few highlights I got on film

My uncle Rod, Chuck and Brian all wore Kilts and Hawaiian shirts, well Rod and Chuck wore the shirts, Brian was in full Scottish get-up, I didn't get a picture of him, these guys were funnier. Also trying to escape from this picture is my cousin Eric with his short hair, before this his hair was longer than mine.
My favorite cousin Christan came in from Cali. He is proudly showing his Dr. Pepper that my nephew kept trying to steal.
Scott and Hayden playing... something on the guitar. This was the highlight of my night because I like to show my husband off.
Don't my grandparents look thrilled, I think sugar has the opposite effect on them.

It's uncle Jay!! He hasn't been around for a while, and he is now a cowboy... Who got a little tipsy by the end of the night... I have really missed my uncles, and I know my dad does too, I mean these are his brothers after all. Sad, but my dad was unable to attend. He was in a really bad motorcycle accident, and was just getting home from the hospital. I went and saw him before the party, and he looked rough. He was out "treasure hunting" somewhere 5 hours from Bountiful, and fell off his bike. He's okay. He was knocked out and when he cam too he got his bike back to camp, loaded it in the trailer, packed up camp and drove 5 hours home!! My mom took him up to the hospital. He has 4 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, and a broken leg. Not to mention all the bumps and bruises all over his body. It's hard to see your father in that way, but he is in good spirits, and had a high tolerance for pain, that's for sure.
Anyway, below is a video of two Scottish/Polynesian men singing rock songs... Enjoy!
And if i can't get this video to upload, I'll post it seperate.

Okay so that night was the weirdest thing I've ever endured. Sorry...not trying to offend anyone. I don't know how I missed the story about your dad. I hope he is doing better. You are so cute. I love reading your posts.
